Bryony is, as far as I can recall, one of my oldest friends, not to mention one of my closest ones, too, despite living 300 miles away from one another. When I moved from Essex to North Devon as a fourteen year old, I remember meeting her when I joined my new school, but it was probably only in college that we really got to know one another, and we fast became good friends. I have so much love for this girl, she actually got me my first paid wedding in 2012!

I had to move away from Devon in 2013, but we remained really good friends, and whenever I go back down to Devon, I still always catch up with her. It was so lovely to finally meet her other half, Josh, too, whom she had fell in love with a little while after I moved. After travelling the globe (she will tell you all about her hitch-hike like adventures in India!) the two got engaged. Having only met Josh a few times (one being their beautiful coastal engagement session - where we almost fell out after he thought I had lost the ring for about ten seconds - eek!) it was so amazing that the two of them then announced their wedding date, and asked me to be their photographer!

Bryony initially invited me as a guest, because she didn't want me to feel like I would be missing out on the fun, and then promptly asked me to be their photographer... Luckily I didn't miss out on any fun, and got to photograph one of my closest friends' weddings! And boy, was this wedding a TON of fun!

From Josh's marvel-themed wedding cake, bow tie, and cufflinks, to flowers hand co-ordinated by her mum, sister and Bryony herself, to the most gorgeous boho gown I've laid eyes upon, to meeting up with old friends, to hopping over a high fence in her wedding dress and trekking in a local field for couple photos ten minutes before sunset, to the father of the bride being given shots (home made might I add!) to get through his speech, to the most wonderful father-daughter first dance followed by Bryony and Josh's first dance itself... Oh my, this day was just beautiful. I'll leave you with the photos, and I am sure you too will be swooning!
