Cooper's Beach Newborn Session | Grace Elizabeth | Alternative Wedding Photographer, Colchester, Essex
Cooper's mum and dad, Amy and John, first got in touch with me late last year when they enquired about their wedding coverage. When we met up earlier this year over hot chocolate (are you seeing a theme with choice of drink at meetings yet?!) we had a good natter about their plans, and I'm now so excited to be photographing their wedding at Tunnels Beaches this September!
Amy was quite heavily pregnant at the time, and as the couple didn't want to do an engagement session, I offered to do newborn photographs instead! You could really tell that their family dynamic was so important to them, especially with son Hudson (who was super excited about having a little sibling!), so I was more than happy to do this instead!
A few months later I received an exciting text from John to say that Cooper had been born, and so we booked in a newborn session at Mersea Island beach a few weeks later, where they have a little beach hut and spend countless hours. They were also kind enough to go for an evening session which meant we could make the best of that beautiful sunlight we were (rather unusually!) blessed with.
I am so pleased with how the session went (can we also talk about their colour co-ordination skills, which I didn't even need to instruct them about!) and love the photos very much. I sent them the photos just last week, and again, as I always say, the universe has strange ways of arranging things, as Cooper had been in hospital, so they were the perfect pick me up.
I hope you guys will like them as much as I do, leave a comment if you do!
In the meantime, if you're not fed up of hearing from me, you can also sign up to my newsletter, where I will get you all the insider gossip!
Much love as always,
