Exploring Mortehoe, North Devon | Travel Diary | Grace Elizabeth | Alternative Wedding Photographer, Colchester, Essex
Mortehoe in North Devon isn't somewhere I've only just discovered. Oh no. Although, it is somewhere I have discovered fairly recently...
Having previously lived in Devon for four years of my life, you might have thought I would've explored the area, but you'd be wrong! The irony about living in one of the most beautiful areas when you're a teenager is that unless you have a car, you can't get to these places! So, it has fallen upon my other half, Jack, who grew up in North Devon, to show me to these 'new' places, ones that he's spent lots of time at as a child.
Mortehoe was somewhere he suggested we visit last summer, and we did, but oh my goodness is it so much more magical of a beautiful summer evening this time around. So, this time, we walked along the rock faces hand in hand from about 8pm until almost 11pm and watched the sun set over Lundy Island. No adjectives will really do it's beauty any justice, so hopefully the photos will give you a bit of a glimpse of our evening. It was so beautiful. I absolutely recommend you go and take a look if you get a chance!
